PPP Tokyo

Innovation Through Permanent Play.

PPP is a creative studio based in Tokyo with a concept of “playing, in the future.” Approaching “playing” from new perspectives that come from ideas and technology, they design both experiences and new methods for communication. Playing is something that has an appeal that can be shared by both children and adults, regardless of their language or culture. PPP takes that appeal and the possibilities of playing to design the future.
Wade and Leta designed a new website for PPP that embodies their playful approach focused on children while also managing to be informative enough for their new and old clients to find out more about their approach and scope of works. Each project has an illustrative representation that can be played with. Our goal was to create a site that was visually fun and poppy but also structured to represent what PPP do best, and that's making experiences for all ages while remaining focused on kids. Small interaction elements like bubbling type, a streamer cursor, and an array of shapes make for a fun, interactive experience.
